So Small Lyrics

Carrie Underwood So Small Lyrics

While working lost in a busy day.. this song came from ipod like a refreshing spring shower ...quickly looked up lyrics on the internet..and pasting here. Another reason why I love my ipod so much.. :)).. sometimes it brings me out of my lostness.

Yeah, Yeah
What you got if you ain't got love
the kind that you just want to give away
its okay to open up
go ahead and let the light shine through
I know it's hard on a rainy day
you want to shut the world out and just be left alone
but don't run out on your faith

'cause sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
is just a grain of sand
and what you've been up there searching for forever
is in your hands
when you figure out love is all that matters after all
it sure makes everything else seem so small

it's so easy to get lost inside
a problem that seems so big at the time
it's like a river thats so wide
it swallows you whole
while you siting 'round thinking 'bout what you can't change
and worrying about all the wrong things
time's flying by
moving so fast
you better make it count 'cause you cant get it back

sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
is just a grain of sand
and what you've been up there searching for forever
is in your hands
oh when you figure out love is all that matters after all
it sure makes everything else seem so small

sometimes that mountain you've been climbing
is just a grain of sand
and what you've been up there searching for forever
is in your hands
oh when you figure out love is all that matters after all
it sure makes everything else...
oh it sure makes everything else seem so small
Yeah, Yeah

-- Playin the song agin. :D

New Day .. New Spirit

Tylenol is the best medicine to a bad head ache, so I had one last nite and it put me to sound sleep...Woke up to a fresh feeling this morning and having my sprits high, once again I felt passionate enough to tackle ACCESS problems at hand.

I am kind of person.. who loves to get things going.. and I really cant get stuck at one point and be there for long.. it stresses me out.

Coming into office this morning, I am thiniking.. isnt it what I like the most abt my job..IT is a challenging career, learning new technologies and have something different to work on in life.. I really cant do the same thing for more than a month okay may be 2 mo's.. I belive variety is the spice of life. So I shudnt complain but get along and accept challenges. So first thing I did is to write all my issues on a paper and come up with a plan to take one thing at a time. To my delight, it all worked out well and by 3.PM I have an answer to my issues...well not all of them.. but I am happy with my progress....focused enough that I forgot to have my lunch.

So lesson learnt: dont sweat small stuff and have a plan to deal with ur things. Life is not always fair. :D. And yes sometimes resting enough helps.

So Totally Tired

Do I have to work on Access Database..? Yes
Do I want to..? NO

I am killing myself trying work on someting which I totally hate.
Like eveytime I had to write some new logic..the voice in my head says you dont have to..its not gonna add up to your skill set.

I dont have an option but meet my dead line.. (GRRRR).. Honestly its really depressing for a java pro(yeah tats me ;)) to work on something really boring as access db.

I dont know.. I always seem to get the patch up works in the proj..Not because I am free.. I hv tonns of coding to do in my other module.. still ppl are confident that I'll be able to do both. God gimme a break..

I am so totally tired today.. stretching myself to meet a requirement and the deadline..So I am screaming (inside) Is it weekend yet..? Pls say a prayer for me that I'll start liking what I am doing atleast until its rolled out on Apr. 4

btw totally un-realated, my hubby booked a bus trip for 2 to Washington DC, for sometime in late May. U know how much did it cost him..??? 50 cents.. yes 50 cents..!!!! hes such a good deal hunter..and we found it irresistible....so we are going..just for the heck of it :D Hope we'll hv fun.

PS: AFter reading the title of my post don't say SO..? like Cheney said to a reporter.. ;)

Bad Bad Girls

I was listening to my ipod .. and this song caught my attention.. sounds very differnt from the regular girly songs in Indian Cinema. And also reminds me of how I used to tease my mom, when I am a kid. :). Here is the lyrics..

Turn ur ipod wheel to Chak de India and sing along......

Album: Chak de India
Song: Bad Bad Girls

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

BAD BAD GIRLS:

Music: Salim – Sulaiman
Lyrics: Jaideep Sahni
Singer: Anushka Manchanda

Bad bad girls
Na rotiyaan khilayegi na choti banayegi
She won’t feed you rotis (bread), she won’t braid hair
Na palkein jhukayegi chalako
And neither will she lower her gaze
Na chat pe bulayegi na nange pair aayegi na sar pe bithayegi chalako
She won’t call you up on the terrace, she won’t come barefoot, and she won’t put you on a pedestal
Bad bad girls (4)
1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8

na beemar hai, na bukhar hai
We are not sick, no fever
khud se thoda humko pyar hai
We are a little in love with ourselves
na beemar hai, na bukhar hai oh oh oh
tu lohar to hum sonar hain
If you’re a blacksmith then we are goldsmiths
kar denge jo karna vaar hai
We’ll unleash our power
tu lohar to hum sonar hain oh oh oh
Bad bad girls (4)

Na chudi hai na chandi hai, na udti paigaani hai
No bangles, no silver, no flying scarves
Na kisi ki yeh baani hai chalako
She’s no goddess
Na kisi ki saheli hai na kisi ki paheli hai
She’s no one’s friend, nor is she a puzzle
Pasine ki tareli hai.chalako
She’s a mass of sweat
Bad bad girls (4)

Akhiyan na dikha, gazalein na suna
Don’t try to flatter or quote poetry to us
Duniya kya hai humko hai pata
We know what the world is like
Akhiyan na dikha, gazalein na suna oh oh oh
Kya yahan bhala, kya yahan bura
We know what’s good and what’s bad
Karna kya hai humko hai pata
And we know how to take care of ourselves
Kya yahan bhala, kya yahan bura oh oh oh
Bad bad girls (4)

Na akhiyan milayegi, na sakhiyan bulayegi
She won’t flirt, she won’t spend time with her friends
Na nakhrein uthayegi chalako
She won’t put up with airs
Na gori hoke aayegi na chori se manayegi
She won’t try to please, she won’t appease
Na bori mein samayegi chalako
She won’t hide herself
Bad bad girls (4)

Things You Didn't Know About You

1) Your Skin Has Four Colors
All skin, without coloring, would appear creamy white. Near-surface blood vessels add a blush of red. A yellow pigment also tints the canvas. Lastly, sepia-toned melanin, created in response to ultraviolet rays, appears black in large amounts. These four hues mix in different proportions to create the skin colors of all the peoples of Earth.

2) The World Laughs with You

Just as watching someone yawn can induce the behavior in yourself, recent evidence suggests that laughter is a social cue for mimicry. Hearing a laugh actually stimulates the brain region associated with facial movements. Mimicry plays an important role in social interaction. Cues like sneezing, laughing, crying and yawning may be ways of creating strong social bonds within a group.

3)Big Brains Cause Cramped Mouths
Evolution isn't perfect. If it were, we might have wings instead of wisdom teeth. Sometimes useless features stick around in a species simply because they're not doing much harm. But wisdom teeth weren't always a cash crop for oral surgeons. Long ago, they served as a useful third set of meat-mashing molars. But as our brains grew our jawbone structure changed, leaving us with expensively overcrowded mouths.

4) Cell Hairs Move Mucus
Most cells in our bodies sport hair-like organelles called cilia that help out with a variety of functions, from digestion to hearing. In the nose, cilia help to drain mucus from the nasal cavity down to the throat. Cold weather slows down the draining process, causing a mucus backup that can leave you with snotty sleeves. Swollen nasal membranes or condensation can also cause a stuffed schnozzle.

5) Much of a Meal is Food For Thought
Though it makes up only 2 percent of our total body weight, the brain demands 20 percent of the body's oxygen and calories. To keep our noggin well-stocked with resources, three major cerebral arteries are constantly pumping in oxygen. A blockage or break in one of them starves brain cells of the energy they require to function, impairing the functions controlled by that region. This is a stroke.

6)Bones Break (Down) to Balance Minerals
In addition to supporting the bag of organs and muscles that is our body, bones help regulate our calcium levels. Bones contain both phosphorus and calcium, the latter of which is needed by muscles and nerves. If the element is in short supply, certain hormones will cause bones to break downeupping calcium levels in the bodyeuntil the appropriate extracellular concentration is reached.

7) Body Position Affects Your Memory
Can't remember your anniversary, hubby? Try getting down on one knee. Memories are highly embodied in our senses. A scent or sound may evoke a distant episode from one's childhood. The connections can be obvious (a bicycle bell makes you remember your old paper route) or inscrutable. A recent study helps decipher some of this embodiment. An article in the January 2007 issue of Cognition reports that episodes from your past are remembered faster and better while in a body position similar to the pose struck during the event.

8) Your Stomach Secretes Corrosive Acid
There's one dangerous liquid no airport security can confiscate from you: It's in your gut. Your stomach cells secrete hydrochloric acid, a corrosive compound used to treat metals in the industrial world. It can pickle steel, but mucous lining the stomach wall keeps this poisonous liquid safely in the digestive system, breaking down lunch.

Learning Annex NYC Expo

I read a lot about Learning Annex and all the big shots speaking in their seminars. Never thought I will attend one..until today.. Thanks to Metro, free local newspaper, I read everyday in my 5 min subway ride to office, gave me a coupon code to attend the seminar for free in NYC(Jacob Javits Center) this weekend. I was glad I was able to enroll on Thursday evening.

We reached there around 4PM. Actually the expo was running for the whole wk end, but I was only interested in the Trump's. Came to know that Trump will speak at 7 PM in room 3-D4.

So went into one of the on going real estate seminars by Robert Shemin
. Very few seats were left in the end. learned how ppl make money in real estate(totally new to us). His speech was very interesting and interactive.

Then went into another room, where Monthly Mentor, Robert Aron was speaking... hmm was't very interesting.. I almost got a head ache... I wish I cud grab his mike and throw him out. hehehehe... I cudn't wait to see MR. Trump.

Finally the moment is here.. Bill Zanker, CEO of Learning Annex introduced Donald Trump... while hes walking on to stage..Money Money Money Moooooooooooney.. apprentice music started playing.. and the golden confetti was blown on to him.. yeah he lived upto his hype. I can't believe I am seeing Trump on the stage. I was soo happy.. He spoke for nearly 2 hrs and the time just flew.. :) He talked abt so many things from being successful to living on the edge of bankruptcy etc.,

Q & A session began and ppl started asking all sorts of questions.. both funny and serious. Every one were amazed when an Indian kid, hardly 7 yrs old posed Trump a question. He was surprised too.. asked him to get onto the stage....Trump asked him what would he want to become when he grew up...the guy said, wants to be a 1) Real Estate Investor 2) Software Engineer and a Base Ball Player. And Trump was sooooooo impressed that he offered the guy his first job. How nice...this is America kids get such a good exposure to become what ever they love to.

I wish I was there on Saturday also.., it was a good experience to be treasured. So there you read on my blog.

Antimatter and Dark Matter

Just read a very interesting Stephen Hawking's article.. wanna know abt him visit : http://www.hawking.org.uk/home/hindex.html . He said, we can achieve the speed of light when matter and antimatter destroy each other the process called annihilation.
Antimatter and Dark Matter

AntiparticlesEvery elementary particle in the Universe appears to have a partner particle called its antiparticle that shares many of the same characteristics, but many other characteristics are the opposite of those for the particle. For example, the electron has as its antiparticle the antielectron. The electron and the antielectron have exactly the same masses, but they have exactly opposite electrical charges.
The common stuff around us appears to be "matter", but we routinely produce antimatter in small quantities in high energy accelerator experiments. When a matter particle meets its antimatter particle they destroy each other completely (the technical term is "annihilation"), releasing the equivalent of their rest masses in the form of pure energy (according to the Einstein E=mc^2 relation). For example, when an electron meets an antielectron, the two annihilate and produce a burst of light having the energy corresponding to the masses of the two particles.
Because the properties of matter and antimatter parallel each other, we believe that the physics and chemistry of a galaxy made entirely from antimatter would closely parallel that of our our matter galaxy. Thus, is is conceivable that life built on antimatter could have evolved at other places in the Universe, just as life based on matter has evolved here. (But if your antimatter twin should show up some day, I would advise against shaking hands---remember that matter and antimatter annihilate each other!) However, we have no evidence thus far for large concentrations of antimatter anywhere in the Universe. Everything that we see so far seems to be matter. If true, this is something of a mystery, because naively there are reasons from fundamental physics to believe that the Universe should have produced about as much matter as antimatter.
Dark MatterDark matter is the general term for matter that we cannot see to this point with our telescopes, but that we know must be there because we see its gravitational influence on the rest of the Universe. Many different experiments indicate that there is probably 10 times more matter in the Universe (because we see its gravitational influence) than the matter that we see. Thus, dark matter is basically what the Universe is made out of, but we don't yet know what it is!
As one simple example of the evidence for dark matter, the velocity of rotation for spiral galaxies depends on the amount of mass contained in them. The outer parts of our own spiral galaxy, the Milky Way, are rotating much too fast to be consistent with the amount of matter that we can detect; in fact the data indicates that there must be about 10 times as much matter as we can see distributed in some diffuse halo of our galaxy to account for its rotation. The same is true for most other spiral galaxies where the velocities can be measured.
There are various candidates for the dark matter, ranging from ordinary matter that we just can't see because it isn't bright enough (for example, ordinary matter bound up in black holes, or very faint stars, or large planet-like objects like Jupiter) to more exotic particles that have yet to be discovered. There are some fairly strong arguments based on the production of the light elements in the Big Bang indicating that the majority of the dark matter cannot be ordinary matter or antimatter (which physicists call "baryonic matter"), and thus that the majority of the mass of the Universe is in a form very different from the matter that makes up us and the world around us (physicists call this "non-baryonic matter"). If that is true, then the matter that we are made of (baryonic matter) is but a small impurity compared to the dominant matter in the universe (non-baryonic matter). As someone has put it, "not only are we not the center of the Universe, we aren't even made of the right stuff!"
The nature of the dark matter is perhaps the most fundamental unsolved problem in modern astronomy.
Could the Dark Matter be Antimatter? It is conceivable that the dark matter (or at least part of it) could be antimatter, but there are very strong experimental reasons to doubt this. For example, if the dark matter out there were antimatter, we would expect it to annihilate with matter whenever it meets up with it, releasing bursts of energy primarily in the form of light. We see no evidence in careful observations for that, which leads most scientists to believe that whatever the dark matter is, it is not antimatter.

Daily routine

Time now is 1:49 had a very lazy Saturday, in which we managed to do a little bit of shopping. Shopping is always fun. :) especially in the holiday season hunting the best deals . ;). Saw some movie called Sri Krishana 2006. okay kinda movie. Herione is a big let down.

Have a production deployment tomorrow. Starts at 9 in the morning and estimated to end around 5 . I am sure it will go late (God knows how long). My wk end is gone =(
I hope I have one more day to sleep and rest...not gonna happen though.
